Hot Spring bath at Tshachu, Gelephu, Bhutan

It is a few kilometres upward and downward journey from Gelephu town to reach the Hot Spring, Tshachu of Bhutan. This small habitat of Bhutan is locked by hills and hillocks in its all surroundings. Tshachu is known for the Hot Spring bath. According to Bhudhist belief if one baths at Hot Spring some ailments particularly skin diseases can be cured or the skin glow can be brighten up. Hence many Bhutanese from other parts visit this place and stay for Hot Spring bath for several days.

There are some holes or cabins in the Hot Spring where people baths.  There are also two strong current very cold streams or rivers flowing although the location is famous for Hot Spring. There is a Budhist Gumba and people used to pray to the Almighty. Tshachu is a naturally beautiful place with peaceful natural ambience. The ever virgin Tchachu gives every visitor a soulful feeling of tranquillity and heavenly peace.

How to reach? This Sarpang area of Bhutan where the Hot Spring is situated is reachable through surface transport vide Gelephu Pass via Bongaigaon district or Kokrajhar district of Assam, India.
