Exit Route

Hidden in you, a kernel, a tiny spark, so unique,
Guru says, the secret of the seed- it’s about
Learning to trust your strength
Wrapped in everyday chaos and cauldron.

Grin shades into a mischievous smirk
Nursing a snarling and recurring cough
Helpless as I am always,
Numbed, scraped, wounded inside.

You can add in moments of yellow light
Filters through an open window,
Sips my dreams, melts in desire yet
Strikes the false notes in dots and ellipses.

Doesn't finish there, for something
Fake and forged, brutal and graphic
Doing sketches of the dark comedy

Less helpful, I feel like taking exit route.
