Bhabesh Gogoi

GOGOI, BHABESH; Master in Agricultural Sciences with specialization in Soil Science from Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat, Assam (India), has started his carrier as Research Assistant in Rain Forest Research Institute, Jorhat, Assam in 2001. Further, he worked as Scientist and Head in Charge of Advanced Research Centre for Bamboo & Rattan, (Indian Council of Forestry Research & Education, Dehradun), Aizawl, Mizoram. He is, at present, serving as Soil Scientist at Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat, Assam (India); and also engaged in a long term project- All India Coordinated Research Project on Integrated Farming System at AAU Centre, Jorhat. His master degree’s research findings were published in the form of a book, entitled “Properties of Soil as affected by INM Practices under Rainfed Situation”, by LAP Lambert Academic Publishing, Germany (2012; ISBN:978-3-659-15511-6). Sh. Gogoi has published over 14 research & review articles in various journals of national and international repute. He has attended a number of National Seminars & Workshops. Besides acting as a reviewer and member of editorial board of pear reviewed journals, he has 4 no. of book chapters, a number of popular articles, leaflets & booklets in his credit.
