A KING OF A NIGHT

He has been the heartiest welcome
By thousand clapping of big hands
Appreciation letters, Gamosa-Sarai
And garland of flowers
At the well decorated stage
Dazzling at the halogen light
Because, his songs fascinated whole night
All the people gathered there
And he was treated as a king of the night.
The next morning after that night
He becomes an indigent one
When he is begging for a meal
And for a piece of cloth
The people of the aforesaid night
Do not have sympathy to him
Both the Government and Common people
Have no time to see towards him
Because, now he is a unsold coins
He was a king for a night only.
