HAD YOU BEEN A PIECE OF SONG

By Dr Anil Kumar Boro

Had You been a piece of song
I would have sung
In your tune a sweet song
My restless body in your ripe bosom
A mellifluous pancham
Had you been a piece of song
I would have sung
My restless body in your ripe bosom
A song of creation
Blows the spring wind
Behind the fragrance of your dark hair
Blooms the simul flower in wild ecstasy
My heart burns
My heart burns
A song of fire
Still unsung.
