TRISHNA - QUEST

 By Gutimali Goswami

What if the River is thirsty,
And the Sun cold.
He pronounced with greed, “Prapti!”;
She looked up and lamented, “Ooprapti!”;
and still, the Keteki passes by singing, “Maa moi keteki!”;
Knitting both with perhaps a Green strand of “Ashar Aasokti!”.
