ISOLATION

 Dhurum Sula Boro

Travelling through a tiny town
I descry some folk
Some even unable to talk
They look pale and frown
Their heads covered with grey crown

Begging for alms
Extending wrinkled palms
They seem like arid leaves
Without tree
Thirsty river without water

A scene that hurt my heart so hard
What is the fault?
To be cast
At the age of seventies
Yes, they are seventies

Is old age a curse?
