Abstract

Web services can be seen as a newly emerging research area for Service-oriented Computing and their implementation in Service-oriented Architectures. Web services are self-contained, self-describing modular applications or components providing services. Web services may be dynamically aggregated, composed, and enacted as Web services Workflows. This requires frameworks and interaction protocols for their co-ordination and transaction support. In a Service-oriented Computing setting, transactions are more complex, involve multiple parties (roles), span many organizations, and may be long-running, consisting of a highly decentralized service partner and performed by autonomous entities. A Service-oriented Transaction Model has to provide comprehensive support for long-running propositions including negotiations, conversations, commitments, contracts, tracking, payments, and exception handling. Evidence exists that service quality delivery through Web sites is an essential strategy to success, possibly more important than low price and Web presence. To deliver superior service quality, managers of companies with Web presences must first understand how customers perceive and evaluate online customer service. The major factor driving the development of contemporary information services, and in particular Web services, is the need for added value. The creation of a huge variety of complex, value-added, although rarely used services seems a bulky approach, whose efficiency is at least questionable. An excellent alternative is the composition of ready-made, more general and simple services for creation of complex value-added functionality on-demand. However, to be really effective such composition has to be real-time, automatic, reliable, and allow thorough customization of the service functionality with respect to user demands and preferences. The goals of this research article are to review and synthesize the literature about service quality delivery through Web sites, describe what is known about the topic, and develop an agenda for needed research.
Key words: Service-oriented computing, Service-oriented architecture, Web services
1.     Introduction

The purpose of this paper is to analyze web service architectures from various online literature to extract a result that confirms the importance of a successful business venture based on the use and quality of web architecture services. As a result of this research i have had the increasing presence of various online companies and the delivery of various services such as transactions, sales or other services where all these are unimaginable to function without a complex web service functionality.
