MASTERPIECE OR A PORTRAIT?

Randhir Kaur Vohra

There I  beholded and went pensive,
Was that a Masterpiece or a portrait?
What a art? What a beauty?
You too leap it, for you espy it out.
My feelings are stabbed and I am wary of the fact,
Only you are apprised but not the world.
So a bitter gourd and a sweet potato thoughts will arise.
People’s mind are debauched, if you clean you too are contaminated,
don’t try.
Why to look out, for God dwells in your heart.
I don’t quest, I don’t ask, I don’t offer, I thank and thank.
Today I accidentally passed myself from the glaring glass and I smiled because in the mirror
someone was smiling.
There I beholded and went pensive.
Was that a Masterpiece or a portrait?
What a art? What a beauty?

Quote: I adore and respect three things in life: Mother, my Teachers, and friends. Without them I am no where, with them I am the real ME. I believe I have the power to change a mind, if not all but at least one through my writings. I write because this is the best way through which I can express my gratitude and respect to others and also because the things which I do not practice is the things  I want my viewers/readers to practice it to make this world a better place. I have learnt the fact that loving oneself is not hard, when you understand who and what ‘yourself’ is. It has nothing to do with the shape of your face, the size of your eyes, the length of your hair or the quality of your clothes. It’s so beyond all those things and it’s what gives life to everything about you. Your own self is such a treasure. When I look out at the people, they look at me and they are smiling, then I know that I am loved. That is the time when I have no worries, no problems. Well, three passions have governed my life:- The longings for love, the search for knowledge, and the unbearable pity for the suffering. With equal passion I have sought knowledge. I have wished to understand the hearts of the people. I have wished to know why the stars shine. Unquote:
