A smoldering blackness chokes my mind;
Fantasies, nightmares and memories entwined,
Crash towards an abyss, unnamed-
Face to face with my fears, untamed.
I try to weep, but all that eruptsis
Groan of laughter, hard and hoarse;
I try to explain but my speech is drowned
By a cacophony of garbled echoes…
I cling on to these iron bars..
In the hope of catching your final goodbye-
But all I see is a cloud of dust
That your wheels have gifted the virgin sky;
All those vows razed to earth-
I suddenly rejoice their downfall.
Despite what they say- Insanity,
Is quite an eye opener after all!
