WAKE UP (SONNET)

By Randhir Kaur Vohra

A commence of a dawn sinks at a dusk,
Ever mull over, why this earth is round?
A ritual of religion and the splendor of lust,
Ever mull over, why this is found?
A Deity of people and a rush of gust,
Ever mull over, why people’s thought are bound?
Nature is natural and believe is like a rust,
Ever mull over, why falsity beauty is on a ground?
Today spurious beauty is immortal and beauty is scorn.
Entity from the flowers to the celestial sight,
Every fair object will lose their authentic born.
A date of havoc is sooner near with a might
And when Mt. Everest will become a constant shooting site…
