Two beautiful and colourful Bodo dances were performed in the open session. All the spectators were mesmerized by such performances. One of them is known as THAOKHRI LUNAI (Thread Spinning Bodo dance), performed by Santipur Bodo Dance Group, Dimoria which was choreographed by Mr. Dipak Kachari and Mr. Datta Boro (according to Shri Shyam Basumatary, It's a spinning dance. In fact the Bodo term "mwsanai" is a conjoined word derived from mwdwm (body) and sanai (spinning). Dance is indeed spinning of body with different artistic forms, expressions and meanings centered on a particular community's life and culture. It's good that these cultural forms are revived!”). Already the mentioned group has brought out the glory to this location as well as Assam by performing in the states like Delhi, Chandigarh, Gujarat, Manipur, Nagaland and Tripura etc. under the banner of Srimanta Sankardeva Kalashetra, Guwahati (Assam).

At the end, the President of the open session delivered his invaluable speech and the session ended with the Vote of Thanks.
